How Secure Is Your Microsoft 365 Environment?
Microsoft 365 includes a wide range of security controls, but many of them aren't turned on by default — they have to be configured deliberately.
Settings worth reviewing include multi-factor authentication enforcement, sign-in alerts for unusual locations, rules around external email forwarding, and who has administrative access to the tenant.
Because these settings live in an admin console most employees never see, it's easy for a business to assume it's protected simply because it uses a well-known platform. Reviewing the actual configuration is the only way to know for sure.
