Does Your Business Really Need MFA?

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds a second step — like a phone prompt or authenticator app — to the login process, so a password alone isn't enough to get into an account.

Passwords get reused, guessed, and leaked in data breaches far more often than most business owners expect. MFA is one of the few security changes that directly addresses that risk, often for very little cost or disruption.

It won't stop every kind of attack, and it isn't a substitute for good password habits or device security. But among the changes we recommend, it consistently offers one of the best returns for the effort involved.
